Finding Real Peace

It's been quite some time since my last post. I had endeavoried to write about every major Mormon topic that concerned me, but I realized that was probably too ambitious a goal. That's not to say that I have not continued to have personal issues with the church - I have. Nevertheless, I have found a measure of peace. This year I have connected with a number of people online that I knew from church during my childhood and college days. What I have found is that my friends are all along the spectrum, from True Believers to New Order Mormons to Inactives to Disaffecteds to Ex-Mos. My friends, at least, have been very accepting of me. I have worked to be more accepting of their points of view, too. I can sincerely congratulate friends on their temple weddings and baby blessings, even though I don't believe in the church, because I am happy that my friends are happy.
